Roda de Ter has experienced notable industrial development thanks to Puig Vell, a sector that has provided new land area to meet the industrial demand in the area. This diversified and constantly expanding sector is characterised by the prominent presence of the agri-food industry, the leather sector, metallurgy and logistics transport.

With a total surface area of 16 hectares, Puig Vell has become an important pole of attraction for companies from various sectors. Prominent companies such as Costa Food Meat, Acto Reparación Blanco SLU, Ovinos del Ter, SL and Ova Projects have already acquired land in this area to develop their business projects.
