The 22@ Network BCN association, in its yearly report on the evolution of the real estate market in Barcelona’s 22@ technology district, noted that the area led demand for offices in 2018 with 128,000 m2 leased, up 14% from the previous year and 33% of the city-wide total. The district currently has six construction or refurbishment projects that will add 43,000 m2 to the stock of office space in the district by 2020. The report also compiles the most noteworthy operations, above 5,000 m2, including those by Everis, CCC-Facebook, WeWork, IMH and Criteo.
