With 96,000sqm, Decathlon closes the biggest operation for the logistic sector since that of Amazon

The sports goods multinational Decathlon recently closed the hiring of 96,000sqm at Barcelona’s Zona d’Activitats Logístiques (ZAL). This is Barcelona’s biggest operation of the last few years after that of Amazon at El Prat (with over 200,000sqm). Decathlon was already occupying a 50,000sqm warehouse but decided on this operation due to the forecasted growth of its logistic activity based in Barcelona. From here, it will handle part of its southern Europe business.
