The number of tourists and their expenditure rises again in Catalonia after two downfall months

According to Institut Nacional d’Estadística, Catalonia welcomed 2,005,260 foreign tourists in September, a 0.3% more than last year’s same month. This means that in September the figure grew a bit if compared with last year’s data, which interrupts the declining tendency of the last two months. INE also establishes that tourists are spending more money in Catalonia. They spent €2,189.39M in September, a 0.9 % more than during last year’s same month.
