The Catalan Land Institute, INCASÒL, has kicked off the first phase of the commercialisation of the plots at Parc de l’Alba in Cerdanyola del Vallès. Over the last few weeks, bids have been published for the sale of a total of 34 plots, 26 of which are earmarked for business activities and 8 for residential construction.

PLOTS EARMARKED FOR ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES

Parc de l’Alba has long been one of Catalonia’s most promising strategic projects for the future. Currently, this project has the potential to create some 30,000 new jobs. The new district will also have a network of green areas, 200 hectares of open-air facilities, and a public investment of 450 million euros.

The plots of land destined mainly for economic activity will be located mainly along the Avenida de la Ciencia, complementing locations where large companies such as Stradivarius, La Caixa, and Natura Bissé, among others, are currently located. In addition, they will benefit from a perfect location as they have direct access to the E-15 motorway and are only 20 minutes away from Barcelona.

PLOTS OF LAND FOR HOUSING CONSTRUCTION

The 8 plots for the construction of residential housing are located between the urban center of Cerdanyola del Vallès and the large central park of 12HA. The marketing of these plots is aimed mainly at social developers and other promoters. According to the data, 1,140 homes are planned to be built.

Regarding the sale of these plots, INCASÒL has remarked that the applicants of these plots who commit themselves to promoting rental housing on the allocated land will be highly valued.

The 34 plots are currently owned by INCASÒL and the Parc de l’Alba Consortium, made up of the Cerdañola del Vallès Town Council and INCASÒL.

Companies/developers interested in acquiring the plots have until 10 October 2022 to submit their application for participation online, and until 14:00 the following day, 11 October, to submit their bids for the plots.
